We often about vendors and sales agencies supporting Gift for Life, but they aren’t the only players in the game. I mean, c’mon…there’s another group at the table, and it’s retailers.
While projects like “Change for Life” allow even the smallest storefront to contribute simply by writing orders with participating vendors, other retailers prefer to make a bigger statement. Enter Fitz Sazama, co-owner of Fitzsu in Los Angeles.
At the ICON Honors held in Atlanta, Fitz watched Peter Schauben accept the Industry Stewardship Award for his role as co-founder of Gift for Life….which apparently got some wheels spinning. By the time Fitz took the stage himself, accepting an award for technology-based marketing, he put those wheels to pavement, pledging the proceeds of Fitzsu’s 2011 fundraiser to Gift for Life.
Needless to say, that got quite a reaction.
