Change for Life Expands into Stationery Industry

That’s right. Just in time for the National Stationery Show in New York, GFL’s successful Change for Life fundraising initiative is expanding into the paper side of our world.

For those of you unfamiliar with the program, Change for Life raises charitable funds for HIV/AIDS prevention via a modest donation from manufacturers, generated solely by orders written at trade shows. During the winter 2011 gift and home markets, more than $20,000 in contributions was raised through more than thirty participating companies. Pretty impressive, but still the tip of the iceberg.

Which is why we’re actively seeking vendor/sales agency partners in the stationery industry to maximize donations for 2011. Companies exhibiting at the National Stationery Show (May 15-18 at the Javitz Center in New York) are being asked to donate a minimum of $.50 per order received at the show.

Small hit. Big impact.

Stationery industry partners will join participants from gift and home décor including Alexa’s Angels, CR Gibson, Evergreen, Global Views, IMAX, Ivystone, Lazy Susan, Lindsay Phillips, Mud Pie, One Coast, Two’s Company, Uttermost, and many others who are already supporting our cause.

“We look forward to continuing the expansion of this efficient and important fundraising program that is so easy to manage and makes a big different,” said Stu Teller, vice-chair of Gift for Life. “The stationery industry is filled with generous companies that will help expand Change for Life.”
