Read more..In October 2017, Gift for Life launched LIFELINE, a new national program through which our industry can fund ad hoc humanitarian relief efforts nationwide. From now through mid-January, the program will provide food and water to communities affected by Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria and the California fire disasters. In collaboration with AmericasMart Atlanta, all funds raised through LIFELINE will be funneled to in-need communities through Feeding America, the nation’s leading hunger-relief charity.

Since its inception in 1992, the all-volunteer Gift for Life organization has united our industry against HIV/AIDS, and more than $5 million has been raised to date. However, AIDS hasn’t been eradicated and it hasn’t been cured. Your support is critical now more than ever. In the United States alone, 1.2 million people are currently living with HIV/AIDS, and 60,000 more Americans become infected every year. More than 40% of new HIV infections in the U.S. affect those aged 13 to 29, and 60% do not realize they are infected, according to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
Our long-time charity partner, DIFFA (Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS) is working toward an AIDS-free generation. It is one of the country’s largest proponents of educational and direct care programs for people living with HIV/AIDS. DIFFA has mobilized the immense resources of these design communities and has granted more than $41M to hundreds of AIDS service organizations nationwide.
