April 23, 2019 — Gift for Life, the gift and home industries’ sole charitable organization, has announced that Rifle Paper Co. will be honored with its 2019 Gift for Life Industry Achievement Award during Gifts and Decorative Accessories’ 68th Annual Retailer Excellence Awards, taking place on Sunday, August 11, 2019, in New York City. The award, which recognizes overall excellence and contribution to the gift and home industry, will be presented to Rifle Paper Co. founders Anna and Nathan Bond.
Rifle Paper Co. was founded ten years ago by husband and wife team Anna and Nathan Bond. From its humble beginnings in a garage apartment, the company has grown into an international brand of stationery and lifestyle products. The company produces a range of paper products as well as new collections across categories such as accessories and home décor. Recent design partnerships have included Loloi Rugs, Corkcicle, Keds and Penguin Boks and many others. The company is based in Winter Park, Florida.
“We are pleased to honor Rifle Paper Co. and its founders for their business success and creative community,” said Matt Katzenson, chair of the Gift for Life board. “This company has become so important to the industry not only because of their striking designs but also because of their mission to share life’s positive moments with others.”
The Gift for Life Industry Achievement Award will be presented to Rifle Paper Co. at the 68th Annual Retailer Excellence Awards (REAs), on Sunday, August 11, at New York City’s Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers. Hosted by Gifts and Decorative Accessories, the Retailer Excellence Awards recognize excellence in retailing and individual achievement. During this festive industry gathering, finalists in seven retail categories will be recognized, winners will be announced and special recognition awards will be presented to manufacturers and sales representatives. Tickets, which are $185 each including cocktails and dinner, are available through www.rea.pbmconferences.com.
“We are honored to be selected by Gift for Life to receive this year’s Industry Achievement award,” said Anna and Nathan Bond. “When we started Rifle Paper Co. in 2009, we were in awe of the other companies in our industry who were still going strong after over a decade of great work. Given this, it is truly special for us to be recognized in this way as we approach our own 10th anniversary this November.”
